We're seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to help design the mechanical backbone of next-generation robotic automation systems used in advanced manufacturing environments.

This is a hands-on design role where your work moves beyond CAD—into real robotic cells, fixtures, and production systems that get built and used on the floor.

⚙️ What You'll Do

• Design robotic fixtures, automation cells, and mechanical system layouts
• Develop and optimize BOMs focused on cost reduction and manufacturability
• Perform FEA and structural validation on mechanical designs
• Manage ECRs and design changes through production lifecycle
• Work in SolidWorks for full-cycle mechanical design
• Support R&D and early-stage conceptual automation designs
• Maintain design data through PDM systems
• Help improve and streamline CAD and engineering workflows

🧠 What You Bring

• Strong background in mechanical design (automation, heavy machinery, or industrial systems)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (required)
• Experience with BOM optimization and cost-down engineering
• Understanding of FEA and mechanical validation
• Familiarity with PDM systems and engineering change processes (ECR/ECO)
• Ability to design for real-world manufacturing and automation environments
