Our top-quality laser, optical and geospatial company is seeking a mission-driven, hands-on Equipment Repair Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills to join their team in Akron, Ohio. Ideal for transitioning military personnel, this role involves diagnosing, repairing, and testing high-precision equipment used in construction, surveying, and engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair complex systems with efficiency and accuracy

Install new parts and ensure operational readiness

Communicate repair status and pricing with internal teams and customers

Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols

Continuously improve technical knowledge through training

What You Bring:

Mechanical/electrical experience (military PMCS or maintenance background a plus)

Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills

Ability to follow detailed repair processes and safety standards

Familiarity with tools, parts management, and basic computer systems

Compensation: $60K-$65K BOE Job 59125

Salary: $60-65K plus 401K, profit sharing, Christmas bonus, 2 weeks PTO, 10 paid holidays, paid training!
