Actively greets members, provides a high level of member service, performs clean up, department set-up and closing tasks as necessary. Job Duties Greets members, helps members load order onto conveyor belt, determines member packing preferences, answers questions, relates information on special promotions, thanks members, assists cashier by counting items left in cart, checking under items and positioning them for scanning. Packs member orders into boxes and loads to a separate cart or flatbed. Checks packaging for tampering. Follow all safety and security procedures. Follows proper departmental procedures for performance of duties. Assists members loading orders into the car when appropriate. May assist members with self checkouts with regards to scanning heavy merchandise, entering in items numbers.
