You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily .What You'll Do On a Typical Day Drive Tractor Trailer in and around the site or on public roadsTouch freight position – will use electric pallet jacksDrive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practicesPerform routine inspectionsCommunicate effectively with dispatchWhat You'll Need To Succeed At GXO At a minimum you'll need:6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 yearsMust be at least 18 or 21 years oldA current valid (CDL A) driver's license and an acceptable MVRAppropriate additional endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if required)(Site specific requirements)It'd be great if you also have:High school diploma or equivalentExperience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
